Portraits Idea and Research
For my 6 images I'm going to create self portraits inspired by photo booth photos, but in inspiration of Nadia Lee Cohen's self portraits where she portrayed different characters in multiple photos.
However, with my self portraits I'm going to try and capture myself through different moments such as smoking, doing makeup, watching something, having a friend round and other things that are very self orientated to capture being with myself, alone. I also got inspiration from the photographer who shot people who got done for crimes out of their windows, but I can't remember their name.
For this project, I'm aiming to capture myself in my most vulnerable states of self which always happen in my own small little dorm room, but I don't want to shoot it in my actual bedroom because I want the perspective of someone watching in on my own states of mind.

Second idea:
For my second idea, I thought I would completely change my first concept as I'm going to Iceland it would give me a reason to take photographs in strangers in the streets without them being aware or probably making them aware of the photographer. I thought this idea would be interesting because in Iceland the culture and people are completely different to England and the English culture due to it being quite a small isolated country with beauty.
Third idea:
For my third idea, I wanted to originally do a self portrait capturing vulnerability from outside my window looking in at motion captured of myself in multiple mindsets and moments in my room. The inspiration for this was the photographer who captured crime victims out of their windows looking in at them, but she didn't know them personally and I wanted to capture this through black and white film.
