Trainspotting + T2 Review and Thoughts

So, I recently watched Trainspotting and the sequel due to my curiosity of what I heard about the first Trainspotting and believed the hype because it was definitely worth the time I spent studying both films. Trainspotting is based off a novel by Irvine Welsh whom is a Scottish novelist that wrote novels about the Edinburgh drug scene and what it felt to be a part of that.

The film is created with a bunch of freeze frames, nostalgia and raw emotions to every character in the film. The characters in the film are extremely addicted to heroin in their young adult lives and the way the narrative was created for the first film, it takes you on a ride as an effect of their life with drugs and abuse of heroin. The film was heavily inspired by music, and music covers such as The Beatles walking across the zebra crossing at Abbey Road and the back of one of the albums.

The film itself is one that you cannot miss on not watching, and it gives you tons of life lessons that as the audience we learn from heroin addicts who decide to make use of their life.
