Workshops | 35mm and 360 film

This week we've been focusing on developing 35mm, and 120 film but I'm still taking it very slowly as the process of getting it printed and developed is still very complicated to me for some reason so, whilst we've been learning how to process film I've been watching film photography YouTubers about how to develop your own 35mm at home for future reference as I'm still not a pro at this process yet as last time, the printers broke and I didn't have time to re-learn the process which makes it very frustrating but I will be trying again. Here is some of the thing's I've researched: https://petapixel.com/2017/02/21/lab-box-lets-develop-film-home-without-darkroom/ 35mm I developed:  My favourite workshops were the 360 & 35mm developing and taking photos as it allowed me to go back into something I love which is film photography. Study Week & 35mm Film

Planning my dance film project  My inspiration for the dance: For the concept of my film I want to base it on becoming extremely vulnerable to yourself, and taking time with letting go in order to be able to grow from the pain/trauma of bad relationships in terms of a metaphor of cutting the strings, and growing within that process.  From watching these videos of FKA TWIGS, I was mostly watching these to gain inspiration of how to direct the dancers I casted but due to corona, I had struggled with trying to think about how I was going to go back to Farnham and film it on time so, I completely changed my idea even though this idea originally inspired the "intimacy" concept. I already started emailing for film permission in Farnham and was ready to start filming my dancers, but then after tons of tutorials and the pandemic making an impact, I decided to change to Fields & Frames which meant I could explore a previous idea I had but never captured...

Dance Film Idea

For my dance idea, I want to do a solo film with one dancer/actor based on giving your venerability people after toxic relationships in general. I have a plan of doing it in a white studio room with one dancer, and a few extras untying the dancer tied up in string. Similar to ballet dancing in terms of how the metaphor is portrayed. I feel that having one dancer in a white empty space helps the metaphor come together in terms of how I want the dance to be portrayed. This dance film will be portraying feminism views and also the feeling of becoming vulnerable to new people after experiencing toxicity socially (in relationships and platonic) and how scary it is opening up to people when you have trust issues (truama). I want to portray this by using ribbons and having three people whom aren't dancing in simple black outfits and the main dancer is a plain nude leotard like in Sia' dance music videos which Sia also portrayed toxicity in "Elastic Heart". I am mostly i...
