Group Studio Shoot

Our group shoot and the group were successful in the end, however, although our group managed to meet up to plan our ideas when the real shot happened our group became really stressed out and quite dysfunctional cause of the lack of communication and leaving people's roles out which really made me feel like I wasn't a part of the group once we started shooting the project, however, I still think our group were very successful although our group were the same personalities that overwhelmed everybody and made everyone feel under pressure although we were working all fine.

In the end, I did end up feeling like I had my role after it was all in control with the whole entire group but it took until the last min for people to make me feel included, and needed for the shoot. It all worked out in the end, but it was quite overwhelming for me. However, I still feel like I did my whole through all the miscommunication and confusion.

Although this shoot was quite stressful and emotional, I'm excited to finally be able to edit on Avid although I'm quite nervous as I already know how to edit on that software but I'm nervous about it not being perfect as I'm not a fan of Avid but I think this will end up being beautiful as the story is extremely complex with subtle meanings. Our group were really good together, I just think if we were there for each other and giving better roles without forgetting people existed it would've caused less stress and chaos on set.

Dance Film Idea

For my dance idea, I want to do a solo film with one dancer/actor based on giving your venerability people after toxic relationships in general. I have a plan of doing it in a white studio room with one dancer, and a few extras untying the dancer tied up in string. Similar to ballet dancing in terms of how the metaphor is portrayed. I feel that having one dancer in a white empty space helps the metaphor come together in terms of how I want the dance to be portrayed. This dance film will be portraying feminism views and also the feeling of becoming vulnerable to new people after experiencing toxicity socially (in relationships and platonic) and how scary it is opening up to people when you have trust issues (truama). For my work experience, I was going to work at a film based company that works around social media and creating content based in London. However, due to corona, my internship had to be cancelled until it's over. I am very close to this company already and am excited to start. I started looking around the beginning of the term for work experience. This company is based in Soho, but I got connections from my parents.
